Privacy and legal notice
Suisse Infos collects as little data as possible, only to help you. Here is what, why, and how to exercise your rights, in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and the EU GDPR.
Who publishes the site
Suisse Infos is an independent website published in Geneva (Switzerland). Contact: contact@suisseinfos.com.
The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (United States), netlify.com.
The data you give us
When you create your access to export your settling-in plan, we receive: your first name, your email address, your status (resident or cross-border commuter), your arrival date and the needs chosen in your basket.
- Why: to send you your plan, reminders before your deadlines and useful information from Suisse Infos.
- Legal basis: your consent, which you give by ticking the box in the form.
- Retention: until you unsubscribe, and at most three years without contact from you.
- Recipients: only Suisse Infos and its host Netlify, which stores the forms. Your data is never sold.
- Transfer: Netlify is based in the United States. The transfer is covered by the contractual safeguards provided by Netlify.
The AI interview simulator
When you use the interview simulator, the job ad, your CV and your answers are sent to our artificial intelligence provider, Anthropic (Claude model), only to generate your preparation and the assessment of your answers.
- Storage: Suisse Infos does not store your CV or your answers on its servers. Your preparation is kept only in your browser.
- Provider: Anthropic processes the data to answer the request and does not use it to train its models via the API. Anthropic is based in the United States; the transfer is covered by its contractual safeguards.
- Tip: you can remove your address, phone number and date of birth from your CV before sending it; they are not needed for the preparation.
Data that stays on your device
Your plan, your ticked boxes, your checklist and your prepared interview questions are saved in your browser (local storage). They are not sent to us. You can delete them at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser.
Cookies and external links
If you accept, Suisse Infos uses Google Analytics to measure visits (pages viewed, source, device), with anonymised IP addresses. Without your consent, no measurement cookie is set. You can change your mind at any time: change my choice.
Suisse Infos does not use advertising cookies. The site contains links to public authorities and service providers. Some may be partner links: if you sign up for a service, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. External sites have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to contact@suisseinfos.com. You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (edoeb.admin.ch) or, if you live in the European Union, your country's authority (in France, the CNIL).
