Power, water, wifi, TV: everything to connect when you arrive.

The contracts to open, the ones that arrive on their own, and the providers so you are not left without internet in your first week.

Energy and water

SIG: your utility in Geneva

Services Industriels de Genève (SIG) supply the canton's electricity, water and gas. No need to compare: it's SIG for everyone.

Report your move-in with your entry date and your meter reading. The letting agency often reports it already: check that the contract is in your name anyway.

Arrives on its own

Serafe: the radio and TV licence fee

Every household in Switzerland pays it, whether you own a TV or not. You have nothing to do: the bill arrives automatically after you register with your municipality.

Internet and mobile

Don't stay without internet in your first week

Order your broadband as soon as you have your address: installation can take a few days. In the meantime, a prepaid SIM card will do.
